Currently all messages are checked for viruses if you have enabled anti-virus checking. We intend to have this configurable at a later date. I don't have any specific recommendations for a virus checker, as we basically use a variety to test with. We do notice that some are a lot faster than others....

We've identified the problem with selecting "Empty 'Deleted Items' Folder" when in some versions of Outlook. The differences between the versions of Outlook/OE was causing the problem. We'll post a hotfix soon for this (we are currently testing over all the versions), along with some other small fix...
