Good idea. I might just wait a couble of day before do the complete rebuild. I am using Windows 2003 SP1, after installing this I had another 17 upldates installed, at which point I started getting this problem. However given that I installed all 17 updates I canot workout which KB reference number ...

Well, I think i'm resigned to the fact that I might as well rebuild the PC and wipe the damn thing. I've now wasted not only an hour but the last 2 days either trying to fix the problem or research on the net, which by the way although I have found some useful tips, generally has been fruitless. :( ...

tried that one, but the IEsetup will not run because a version exists on the machine. This I cannot uninstall because it does not belong to the add/remove programs either as a windows component or standard app. If anyone knows the answer yet again let me know; if possible I do not want to rebuild th...

I don't tink this is drectly an ME problem, I think it was a security update for Windows over and above SP1. I also have the Enterprise edition and have had to setup ime_user and _admin for webmail in the launch and activation tab as described on the ME KB. I now have webmail working fine but this d...

I have only had this problem since I updated my 2003 server (web edition) to SP1 and 17 subsequent security updates. ME Enterprise edition bayesian filtering works the same way as ASSp, in that it works on probability of content; it does not work on filtering rules. I simply receive a report that it has been junked, after 7 days; the emails in the junk email folder are filtered through the learning process. I used...

To get over the problems with using ASSP, I have now simply upgraded to the Enterprise edition of MailEnable. This inlcudes Bayesian filtering, which is what ASSP does. IT WORKS WELL! If you want to wait, the ME Pro V2.0, I beleive will have some of the same functionality and therefore it might be w...

bayesian filtering and nospam mail
Hi I havve an account who is a HAM address; i.e. when they send email ME learns that it is not spam. However this is being recognised as spam and being sent to the honeypot and a notice is being sent to me telling me that it has an extremely high probability of being spam and junks it. There also ap...

well I can now inform you that it worked completely. I now have Bayesian filtering enabled with a list of over 5.5000 emails scanned for both spam and nospam; thankfully provided by ASSp, which by the way I tried earlier with ME Pro but couldn't get it to work. Anyway it isn't important to have the ...

I previously tried to use ASSP, which I have found is not required for the Enterprise edition. However it appears that it has a quite good selction of both spam and nospam samples; but there also might be a problem in that the samples and simply named 'name' without an extension such a 'MAI' does th...

re calendar
I like the look and feel of ME enterprise edition and are likely to purchase; been a pro user for a while now and dislike the aged look of webmail and lack of calendar features. Houwever an excellent feature for the enterprise edition would be to include different views for the calendar, similar to ...
