I think what a great wish-list idea would be that the webmail can tell if you're using a browser on a computer or the browser on a Pocket PC. They pretty much have the same screen resolutions. It might be a great idea. It wouldn't affect the server-side, just mostly the webmail interface to adjust. ...

We have our SPAM filters set with everything enabled where it verifies messages against SpamCop, SpamHaus, etc. We still are receiving some SPAM, but the number of SPAM has dropped considerably. I could care less what the server filters, but for our desktop computers a couple of us are using Spam Ba...

If you have a firewall, you may have to open that port (587) and also let your router know as well that traffic can go through port 587.

That is rather interesting. I know there was a solution a while back regarding the size of attachments and you can manually configure the number (our's is 50 MB); however, we're only having problems with our Norton AntiVirus on your desktop computers griping about it. But so far we have been able to...

Wow...I'm surprised to to hear about this. I was considering about installing the IMAP fix. I, though, have one quick question. The IMAP service that is running, is it called "MEIMAP"? If so, it is only using 4560 K of our system resources. I have not noticed this file getting any larger and causing...

Version 1.2
I have not seen any mention of version 1.2 on the website. Is it due to be released? We upgraded from version 1.04 to 1.1 and have seen noticeable improvements and so far have nothing but compliments. We, though, would really like as a benefit a spell checker for the webmail. Beyond that, we've enjo...

Surprisingly we have not really had much SPAM problems. We have all the blacklists checked and leave it up to SPAMCop and the others to help us with that. So far it's been successful. Whatever we do happen to miss, Microsoft Outlook has been very good at clearing anything that might be missed. http:...

We have been running Windows 2003 and with the SP1 update when it was first available. We have not had any problems other than it was a massive download. Beyond that, it has actually made our servers run much better with very little to no problems. http://www.covenantdata.com ...Where data becomes i...

I keep the scanners active from the Norton AntiVirus and have not run into any problems with viruses getting through. However, we have recently upgraded from NAV 9.0 to 10.0.

Yes, there is. Open your Mail Enable Administration console on your server. Click on MailEnable Management-->Messaging Manager-->Connectors-->SMPTP. On the SMTP tab, you can adjust your outgoing message sizes. This can help with issues of SPAM or just control over the sizes of the messages. Keep in ...

Just out of curiosity, are you using Norton AntiVirus on your client computers? Sometimes that will play in as a factor while sending and receiving messages (particularly if there is an attachment).

I could not go to that URL. Is that an internal website or a public site. However, based on what you're asking here is something to keep in mind. When you're using Outlook and Outlook Express, the e-mails are physically downloaded from the server and exist on the physical workstation. That means you...

Have you tried sending the e-mails using the web interface? The reason I am asking is you can trace to see if it is an Outlook or local computer issue rather than a server issue. Be sure that your MX records and all that are set up on your DNS server and you can configured the Mail Enable properly d...
