Run Clear Synchronization Data for that device from the Activesync > Devices manager.
If that doesn't work, try dropping a file named _CHANGE.DTY into the Inbox on the server and then login to webmail. It should reindex the inbox.

I am using Outlook 2020 (or latest).
I ended up removing the account and re-adding it though that's not my preferred method. It's meant re-downloading the entire account again.

Hi there, My EAS account is missing all folders except the standard Inbox, Drafts, Sent Items, etc list of folders. I've cleared Sync data twice and tried the _change_dty file with no luck. I'm surprised you're still using MXScan! The spam rules must be seriously out of date so not sure how you can keep it going after all this time and still get effective spam filtering.
