Re: Missing email in Outlook

Run Clear Synchronization Data for that device from the Activesync > Devices manager.

If that doesn't work, try dropping a file named _CHANGE.DTY into the Inbox on the server and then login to webmail. It should reindex the inbox.

Relay - Allow Relay for Privileged IPs

Hi there, We're having a problem where form submissions from one of our hosting servers are still being rejected by the Mailenable server even though I have the sending hosting IP exempted in the exception list. <test@tester.com>: host mail.xxx.com[1.2.3.4] said: 551 This mail server requires authen...

Re: SPF enforcement to prevent spoofing

Thanks Ian. I enabled Authenticated senders can spoof sender address just after I wrote this. I recall trying that 10 or more years ago and it created all kinds of problems as back then many clients used their local ISP to send emails on their domains behalf. No one uses those settings anymore so I ...

SPF enforcement to prevent spoofing

Hi there, Is there a way to configure SPF so that it enforces SPF for email to a domain from the same domain? Outlook enforces SPF so that email from the same domain is rejected which prevents spoofing which is becoming a real problem. Any insights on how to better prevent spoofing would be greatly ...

Re: Folders missing on EAS account

I am using Outlook 2020 (or latest).

I ended up removing the account and re-adding it though that's not my preferred method. It's meant re-downloading the entire account again.

Thanks

Folders missing on EAS account

Hi there, My EAS account is missing all folders except the standard Inbox, Drafts, Sent Items, etc list of folders. I've cleared Sync data twice and tried the _change_dty file with no luck. I can see the folders on webmail and my Android phone. Is there a way to fix this? I'm running latest version ...

Sent folder not syncing after using ME migration tool

Hi there, I just migrated customer email account using the ME Migration tool and it worked well and all folders sync except for Sent Items folders which only shows sent emails since the migration. She uses Outlook 2016 on Win 10. I tried running _CHANGE.DTY in both Inbox and Sent folder which didn't...

Re: MagicSpam vs. Barracuda

I'm surprised you're still using MXScan! The spam rules must be seriously out of date so not sure how you can keep it going after all this time and still get effective spam filtering. I have 100s of domains but the only per domain feature I would need is ability to forward email to a specific email ...

Re: MagicSpam vs. Barracuda

Thanks for your feedback Robert. What do you think of MagicSpam spam filtering abilities? How would you compare them to Barracuda or other well known anti-spam vendors? What do you use for spam filtering? I use Barracuda now and I don't have many option to customize spam settings per domain anyways ...

MagicSpam vs. Barracuda

Hi everyone, Does anyone have any experience with both MagicSpam and Barracuda spam filters? Barracuda does a great job but is very expensive and I was wondering if MagicSpam can replace it with a similar level of quality spam filtering and features? What would I lose if I went to MagicSpam? Thanks ...
