Since the RemoveAddressMap function accepts a wildcard, you cannot remove the catchall in one step. So as you see in sunposts post, you need to rename before removing. Work is progressing well, but it won't be available until Jan/Feb. There is not many changes over our current administration API ( http://www.mailenable.com/developers ) apart from the adding of a Server property of what you are wishing to perform the action on, and some authentication. It makes it ...

Even after stopping any relay you have, the undeliverable notices may still be generated for emails that are in the SMTP Outgoing queue (in the Mail Enable\Queues\SMTP\Outgoing directory). Also, sometimes it may appear you have an open relay if you have a catch-all account for a domain and are forwa...

Hi, In answer to your queries: 1) The 1.6 and later versions rebuild the Processing Order whenever an install occurs. It goes through all the subkey names and creates the list. It needs to do this to keep any custom additions you have made, and to add new items that may be in the install. The items ...

It looks like you are accessing the HTTPMail service (which is not webmail, but is used with Outlook 2002 and Outlook Express). This service runs on port 8080 by default. The webmail is installed into a virtual directory on your default web site (unless you specify otherwise), and is accessed throug...

Check the Debug logs in the Mail Enable\Logging\SF directory. The logs will show the email address the message is bound for and the mailbox and postoffice it has resolved it to. Eg: Delivered message from [SMTP:support@mailenable.com] to PO=mailenable MBX=support The PO connector uses the ADDRESS-MA...

If you wish to do this as a user, you would need to create a group with all the domain emails in it (we have no alias like all@domain yet). You can also send emails to everyone, everyone in a post office, or a single user through the Administration program (click on Messenging Manager or the post of...

When MailEnable resolves an email address it uses the ADDRESS-MAP.TAB file in the Mail Enable\Config directory. It should always pick up the email address if it exists (we haven't seen it not do this before). Check to make sure the email address is spelt correctly. There are lots of times when users...

You also might want to try checking connectivity outside from MailEnable, which will help identify whether the problem is a firewall or something similar. You must have port 25 open on any firewall. From a command prompt, try connecting to a remote mail server over port 25. You can do this by runnin...
