Wow...go figure...an anonymous user pretending to be a tough guy... It's almost laugh-out-loud funny. Of course...the jerkoff fails to remember one critical element that makes this whole thing disgusting... Yeah...Windows 2003 is new...but guess what? ME worked fine for about 3 weeks for me...then j...

What's the latest? I'm afraid I'm going to have to purchase another product unless this issue is able to be resolved QUICKLY. I can't penalize my hosted domains because of my choice of email software. Please let me know a realistic and educated estimate as to when this might be cleared up. Or, if yo...

2. The post refering to IWAM_COMPUTER etc not likely to resolve the COM+ error nor to address the issues with the MMC. 3. The "419" permission error is most likely the result of a security update released by MS last thursday: http://www.microsoft.com/security/security_bulletins/ms03-039.asp This wo...

Putting it that way raises the bar a few notches. This thread had potential to turn stupid before I posted. That was my only purpose here ;) Well, that and to call attention to my technical issue needing resolution in the OTHER THREAD of mine. My actual opinion of what this guy, or anyone else needs...

I have a few observations based on the "enlightened" commentary in this thread... 1) The guy is not asking for umlimited free usage with ME Pro. He's simply suggesting a "different" type of limitation. One that limits #'s of users (or mailboxes I assume) as opposed to one that limits #'s of domains ...

IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM ADMIN: The procedure outlined below may cause unrecoverable permission denied issues within the MailEnable MMC. As a result you should not use this procedure until such time as this notice is removed Here's the solution... 1) Click Start, go to Run, type in "dcomcnfg". 2) When...

Unfortunately...that didn't do anything to help the situation. The IUSR account is being used properly with regard to ME's setup...as it has read & execute permissions on every file in the bin directory. It's weird...but when the 419 error window pops up...the screen starts flickering in a very rapi...

Gene, Thanks a bunch for the suggestion. However, I was unable to solve it with your method (alone). It seems, when I went to the Add/Remove Snap-In section, I didn't have an entry for MailEnable Management. I thought this to be very peculiar and probably symptomatic of a bad installation or somethi...

Please see: http://www.mailenable.com/kb/viewarticle.asp?aid=107 Already done that one...without success. Any other ideas? I get the exact same error as listed in my first post. The Windows association (between MMC's and mmc.exe) isn't broken either, the mmc is still set to open with mmc.exe in the...

Windows Server 2003 & MMC Problem
Here's one for the brain trust... On a Windows 2003 Server machine...this interesting little popup started rearing its ugly head today... MMC cannot open the file C:\Program Files\MailEnable\bin\MailEnable.mmc. This may be because the file does not exist, is not an MMC console, or was created by a l...
