Hey all,
I am having difficulty getting my mail server to work correctly.
I have HELM and it automatically adds newly created domains and email accounts with no trouble into MailEnable. I'm having a hard time however figuring out why for some reason sending an email to any of the email accounts gets bounced back saying it doesn't accept relays but I'm just trying to send an email that is a local domain on the server!!!
After running the mailenable diagnostics tool, I'll paste in the Failers:
SMTP Configuration Test:
Local Server Test Failure - localhost is running an SMTP Server other than MailEnable or the welcome message has been changed.
I'm NOT running another SMTP server other than MailEnable that I'm aware of. It's just what came loaded on my machine from Serverbeach. What welcome message are they talking about?
Having this issue !

Re: Having this issue !
That test basically attempts to connect to the SMTP server running on the local computer (localhost) and inspects the welcome message returned by the smtp server. It checks as to whether the string "MailEnable" appears in the SMTP announcement.
You can run the same test manually using the telnet utility:
From the windows command prompt run the following
telnet localhost 25
You will see the SMTP welcome message appear... and this may give you a clue as to what SMTP service is running on port 25 of the localhost.
