Unable to create rules and alerts

Now that I have migrated my Outlook 2007 to the MAPI connector I am unable to use 'tools => rules and alerts" The creation of rules is grayed out. I can, however, right click a message and create a very basic rule to handle the message but this lacks much of the feature(s) and controls that the rules/alerts menu choice has. Is this normal??

I have the same issue. Does anyone know what is happening and how to fix?

Hi, this issue has since been fixed. It was very difficult to find as it could not be reproduced even though using the same Outlook Version and Config on seemingly identical environments. The 1.29 release will however address the problem.
