PDF Attachment corruption

Very interesting problem.
Randomly, emails with PDF attachments are showing as BLANK PDF when opened using Outlook.
If we login to the WebMail, the email & attachment both show just fine.
We have tested this using other file types and we do not have the problem. this only happens with PDF and not all PDFs. It happens to those that seem to be all graphical (i.e. efax attachments).

Anyone had same problem? Any solution?

Hi,

What version of the MailEnable MAPI connector are you running? Have tried disabling all Outlook COM addins and only leaving the MAPI connector enabled to see if other plugins maybe causing the viewing issue sin Outlook? If you create an Outlook IMAP account does the same behavior occur?

VERSION 2.41.0.0
Yes tried disabling the other add-ins.
FYI - there are no antivirus, no other add-ins.
Using Outlook 2010 on Windows 2008R2 server in Terminal Server environment.

Hi,

Try updating the MAPI connector to version 2.59 to see if this helps.

Well... updated the MAPI version to the latest per your recommendation last night. Before we are able to test the PDF readability, now it broke the entire Outlook Sync.
Outlook fails to load at all. it hangs at "Loading Profile"
Even for Administrator. :? :? :? :?

UPDATE:
I looked through the KB, and found that the IMAP service could have been the problem. So I started the MailEnable Server entirely, and was able to load Outlook now. (what a timing!)
So, the new MAPI client seem to work loading Outlook after the ME Server reboot. (on the side note, everytime the ME server is rebooted, I have to run ME Installer and fix the WebMail. It always break when server reboots with Service not Available error)
I will update you with PDF reading issue later
