BCC issue with smartphones - Possible Bug?

Postby sagelike » Fri Apr 20, 2012 11:19 pm

Hi there

I've run into a serious problem with when using the BCC field with a smart phone and we've encountered this on Android and iPhones using Activesync.

When sending email from either phone and using the bcc field, neither the main recipient or the bcc recipient receive the email.

The email transaction also appear in the SMTP log and MTA log and appear normal though admittedly, I haven't got a firm grasp on the SMTP log.

I don't have this problem using Outlook with MAPI connector.

Any ideas?

The hotfix was already available and being tested, so I only needed to package it up - Its here: [link removed}
Thanks again.

Note: Released fix is now in current release (at the time of writing is 6.53).
