[SOLVED] Synchronization for Microsoft Outlook

Post by scree74 »

Good Afternoon

I am currently evaluating ME Enterprise Premium 8.5 for my organisation.

one of our requirements is that the system is shared calendars, Global Address Lists and public folders

I have downloaded and installed Version: 1.23 "Synchronization for Microsoft Outlook" tool when I go into FILE-OPTIONS-ADDINS -COM ADD-ins and click go the MailEnable for Outlook Add-in is not there to select.

Below is the installation log i have highlighted in red what could be the issue but how do i fix it!!! I have tried to manually register the file but I am getting the following error
The module "mesync.dll" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80004005

Hi,

If your using Enterprise Premium and require full Outlook synchronization then a better option is to use the MailEnable MAPI connector and not the Outlook synchronization tool. Therefore uninstall the plugin you have currently installed and install the MAPI connector . Links and docs below:

32bit Outlook: http://www.mailenable.com/MESetup.exe
64Bit Outlook: http://www.mailenable.com/MESetupx64.exe

Docs: http://www.mailenable.com/MailEnable_Co ... utlook.pdf
