ERROR - Unable to verify account

ERROR - Unable to verify account

Hi,

I have deployed correctly EAS in the ME server. I have configured correctly my email account using EXCHANGE option in my iPad. However, when I try to configure my account using EXCHANGE in my Mac (macOS Sierra 10.12.1), I get the following error message:

"Unable to verify account name or password"

Why is this happening? All tests using ME EAS Tools and Microsoft's show good results, and the fact that I am able to delete/reconfigure my account in my iPad demonstrates that EAS is operating fine.

Hi,

Exchange account options on a mac will only allow you to connect to an Exchange server via EAS and not third party EAS servers.

Hi,

Thanks for replying.

Apparently Mail.app on a Mac uses EWS instead of EAS. When is ME going to start supporting EWS synchronization method?

In the future we may implement EWS. We dont have set time frame at this stage sorry.
