EAS / Autodiscover issue

Post by rkollmeyer »

I have been working for months (in between frustration) trying to get EAS and Autodiscover working properly.

All of the autodiscover tests pass (including SSL) at Microsoft's Remote Connectivity analyzer. I can configure Thunderbird, Windows 10 Mail, and Outlook 2016 using autodiscover, but when I try to use autodiscover for an IMAP account or EAS on an iPhone/iPad or Android tablet, I'm unable to get the autodiscover to work properly.

I have configured autodiscover using the SRV DNS record - does this cause issues with iOS/Android? If I manually configure the server settings on the iOS device or Android, it works perfectly fine either using IMAP or EAS.

Any idea what I might be missing? I think I'm finally on the cusp of getting this working, but really running into a wall with (what I think should be a simple) autodiscover error.
