c:/activesync directory is using more space than entire Program Files(x86)/Mailenable directory which includes Postoffices!.
335GB to be precise with 7.6 million files in 77 folders. Egad! Some folders are more than 500MB with the same files repeating over and over but at different dates.
Why does activesync directory use so much space and is there a way to reduce the amount of space it uses?
Even when I clear sync data, the directories don't seem to change in size or if account is no longer using activesync, the related directories remain.
thx
Glenn

Re: activesync directory using enormous amount of disk space
Hi,
Its because you have Active logging enabled. The C:\ActiveSync folder is the logging folder for Activesync. Open the Activesync management utility and navigate to the "Advanced" tab and disable logging. Then delete all the contents of the folder.
