Webmail calendar - invite attendee fails

Post by hicla » Tue Jul 23, 2019 7:28 pm

We are always getting error 500 when adding attendees to a calendar event if the "send an email to each attendee" option is checked.
Running Mailenable Enterprise v9.83

Steps to reproduce:
  1. create a new event or edit an existing one or click on the New button in the month view
  2. add at least one attendee email
  3. check "Send an email to each attendee"
  4. click on Save
Depending on the browser, we either get the error message shown in the screenshot or nothing at all. Inspecting the network requests with the browser debugging tools it turns out it's a HTTP error 500 with this stacktrace

Code: Select all

[NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.]
   MailEnable.Clients.WebMail.Mondo.Request.A(String , String , String , String , DateTime , DateTime , String , String , String , Int64 , String , String , String , StoreItem& ) +933
   MailEnable.Clients.WebMail.Mondo.Request.A(String , String , String , String , String , String ) +4853
   MailEnable.Clients.WebMail.Mondo.Request.ProcessCommand() +8256
   MailEnable.Clients.WebMail.Mondo.Request.a(Object , EventArgs ) +4322
   System.Web.UI.Control.OnLoad(EventArgs e) +105
   System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive() +67
   System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) +3784
The event gets edited/created, but the invited attendee doesn't receive an email.
If the event is deleted, the attendee correctly receives an email saying that the event was cancelled
