Hi,
If you create a new mailbox with name “user1”, in a post office with a domain “domain.com” then Mailenable automatically creates an email address for that user “user1”@”domain.com” WITHOUT checking if that SMTP address already exists!
When, attempting to add an address to an existing mailbox, Mailenable checks correctly for the existence of the address and throws an error.
Thanks,
Aaron
Mailbox creation does not check if email address already exists

Hi,
Update to 9.76 and check again to see if it still happens. I tested this in 9.76 and cannot emulate the behavior.

Hi,
We still see the behaviour in 9.78. Is it relevant that we are using MSSQL backend?
Thanks,
Aaron

Hi,
Yes it could be the cause. Not sure as I will need to setup the same environment on my end to test. In the interim see if you can populate the tab delimited file configuration on your side and activate tab files again to see if the problem persists. We still see the behaviour in 9.78. Is it relevant that we are using MSSQL backend?
