Unsupported download applications
Unsupported download applications
When I installed MailEnable I did not use the default locations, and further split up where the log files are kept. Since I am not using the default locations the Bad Mail to Outbound and METracker applications do not function. I understand these applications are not supported. Would it be possible to get the source code for these unsupported applications to fix the locations they are using to look for files? Thank you.

The METracker application uses the registry settings to determine the location of the log files. It derives them from the following locations:
Connectors:
SOFTWARE\Mail Enable\Mail Enable\Connectors\XXXXX: Activity Log Directory
Services:
SOFTWARE\Mail Enable\Mail Enable\Services\YYYYYY: Activity Log Directory
Agents:
SOFTWARE\Mail Enable\Mail Enable\Agents\ZZZZZ: Activity Log Directory
Hence, even if you change the location of the log files, it should still work.
But, you will need to ensure that you have Activity Logging and Debug Logging Enabled for all services.
The BadMail to Outbound Utility also uses registry settings. I will verify whether we can post the sources utilities. The outstanding issue is that these utilities use MailEnable in-line base classes and hence we will need to separate before they can be published.
