POP3 problem

Hi
I have installed mailenable on my Windows 2003 server (standard).
I have configered outlook according to the specs provided and when I test it, Outlook find the pop3 server and smtp server but fail to login or send a e-mail. I do not have any firewall as this is purely a intranet server. I have netgear hub that is connected to the internet. Which does have a firewall? Can anyone help or have any advice?

how have you configured them all ? ... that's the first thing that we just don't know

There are tons of possible base settings.
