SMTP send problem
I just installed mailenable on a winnt4 box.I can send and recieve email with no problem from within the local lan. The problem is that if i'm outside the local network (dialed in to the internet ) and try to send email if fails to send. I cannot telnet to the ip address port 25 eather. If i telnet to port 110 it works. I have a barricade dsl/router set up with port 25 and 110 as a virtual server throught nat. If i do a port scan it shows port 25 and 110 open. There is nothing showing up in any of the logs. Is it possible to connect this way? If so could you give me some idea of where to look for the problem. Thanks for any help. Bill
