Picking up mail from ISP mail server... help!

Post by Chrisx »

Hi

Is it possible to have MailENable download all mail from an ISP's mail server, then split it up into indivudual mail boxes.. if so, how?

Thanks in adv

i believe its the users option inside of the webmail package.. Or if they are using a client (Outlook), then why would you want to do it anyway?

Are you thinking of using a catchall box with an ISP for a domain and then "splitting it up"? If so, this is not directly supported.

You can look into a utility like POP Weasle which grabs from pop boxes and redirects to an smtp server or you can look into having your ISP deliver via ETRN and have ME catch it. You can have a 3rd party initiate the ETRN request from the mail server who would be holding your mail.
