SPAM where sender=recipient

Postby ted » Mon Mar 21, 2016 12:25 pm

Hi,
Have just started getting a ton of SPAM to a lot of mailboxes that gets through the filters. But a lot of it the sender and recipient are the same. Is there a way in ME to stop getting mail wherre the FROM = TO?

Hi,

You need to enable the SMTP security option for "Address Spoofing" and set the option to "Authenticated users can spoof the sender address".

Hi,

I'm also searching for answer. But domain not spoofed. Sender server is the domains mail server. Local mailboxes dont require smtp authentication.

Thanks,
