Hi
I'm testing MailEnable.
When I try to send emails (from gmail) to an account I have created at my mailenable server - I get this error:
The error that the other server returned was:
503 This mail server requires authentication when attempting to send to a non-local e-mail address. Please check your mail client settings or contact your administrator to verify that the domain or address is defined for this server.
I have checked that in SMTP Properties - advanced SMTP tab - it is set to "Do not require authentification" for delivery to local addresses
Aby idea what might be wrong?

Hi,
Does a valid domain exist under the postoffice where the user resides? Does the mailbox have a valid mapped email address?
