Unable to send receive emails using MailEnable

Post by smartabbas »

I am new to MailEnable, i installed the mailenable softwares following a youtube video, i made necessary DNS updates as well, however i am neither able to send email or receive mail. When i did diagnostics on MailEnable, all the entries were Pass and highlighted Green, however for Host TCP/IP Settings i am getting No Domain is configured under your windows TCP/IP Settings, i am suspicious about this entry, may be it's not working because of this, but there's no solution provided in the diagnostics, i tried google as well, could any one please help me what's exactly the issue with the MailEnable Software.

As i am unable to attach Text File, i am posting my Diagnoostics data here, the DNS entries could be found in attachment.

Re: Unable to send receive emails using MailEnable

Post by MailEnable-Ian »

Hi,

When I telnet to mail.pumpsglobal.com on port 25 I don't get a MailEnable SMTP response and another SMTP service.

220 mail.pumpsglobal.com ESMTP

Do you have another SMTP service running on the same machine as MaiolEnable on port 25?

Your problems with not receiving are because mail.pupmsglobal.com is responding with another SMTP service or perhaps a spam gateway of some sort. Not sure.

As for problems sending you to need to inspect the SMTP activity and debug log files in respect to the message ID's in the SMTP Outbound queue that are failing to send.
