External mail goes to a defualt mail address on cpanel

MailEnable POP3 Service (C:\Program Files (x86)\Mail Enable\Bin64\MEPOPS.EXE) error: 10049,ME-F0090: Unable to bind to IP Address (xxx.xxx.xxx.16), Port (110), Error (10049). Could not start service. Check that another service is not running or security software has not prevented access to the port.


Please help out as external mail are not recieved on our mail server.

Hi,

The error indicates that the POP service is not able to bind to port 110. Are you running other POP services on the server that are binding to the same port?
