Dear Sirs,
i'm using mailenable free edition rel 6.87 just as smtp relay for our customer. Each customer has a register account with complex password. Sometimes , probably for a virus or malaware who clones tha password , a specific client start to spam.
Is there a method to prevent this situation ? (because if we don't block early the spam we have spamlist problems).
Is it possible to setup a maximum mail number in a specific time ? Or to receive via e-mail an alert if an user has a lot of simultaneus sendig ? Or can you suggest me some solution ?
Regards

Re: Preventing outgoing spam
Hi,
Please review the following article: https://www.mailenable.com/kb/content/a ... D=ME020339
Standard edition is limited in terms of alerts and spam filtering. For restricting the amount of emails that can be set per hour this can be set within the SMTP security tab. You might want to also consider upgrading to version 10.14 as 6.x is outdated and may contain security issues you need to address.
