Email client can't connect to SMTP server
Email client can't connect to SMTP server
I have configured MailEnable on Windows. Everything works fine on webmail. I can send and receive emails to web mail. But when I tried to connect apple mail to Mailenable mailbox, it is unable to connect to the SMTP server. It seems like SMTP server does not authenticate the email client software. Appreciate any help on this.

Firstly are you able to telnet from the Apple client machine the MailEnable SMTP service on port 25? Open a terminal on the Apple client and type telnet mail.exampledomain.com 25.
