Send outbound e-mail via SSL only

Post by berridgeab »

Hello

Is it possible to configure MailEnable to only transmit e-mail messages via TLS / SSL if the recipient server supports it, and if it doesn't, bounce the e-mail back to the sender? I can see the option to send via SSL, but the documentation implies that it will send the e-mail insecurely instead if the recipient server doesn't support TLS / SSL. I don't want to do this, I want to only send the e-mail securely, otherwise bounce it back to the sender with a delivery failed notification.

From the documentation -
https://www.mailenable.com/documentation/10.0/Professional/SMTP_props_Outbound.html

Outbound TLS - Will try and establish a connection with the remote server using TLS if the remote server supports TLS, otherwise will fall back to a Non-TLS send. This does not require you to configure an SSL certificate locally.
