Hi Everyone,
My boss told me to get a private mail server together and I don't really know to much about this. I have been researching and trying to set up this home mail server. I have pretty much all green lights on my diagnostics. I just cant for the life of me get it to connect with any mail client and I cant figure out why. I have checked my ports and they seem good. anyone got any advice for me? I am at the end of the rope but I feel like I am so close.

Hi,
In the email client account settings try and use the IP address as the server name for SMTP and IMAP to see if this works. Are you able to telnet to the MailEnable server from the client machine and connect port 25 and 143?
