Forwarding Postmaster@ vs. SmartHosting

Post by nmnadmin »

Hey folks...

I have an issue with MailEnable under smarthosting. It seems that despite the account the postmaster@ is forwarding to is local, external mails to that account are being routed through the smarthost, who then junks it, as it is not an allowed sender (only local domains may send outbound mail from our servers).

Looking at the logs, it seems that normal groups forwarders in MailEnable are first being handled by "SF", which recognizes the local nature of the account, but the domain accounts abuse@ and postmaster@ seem to go directly SMTP inbound to SMTP outbound and thus bypassing the recognition as local.

Is there a way to fix this, i.e. in the registry?
