Hello:
Using MailEnable Standard 10.47 on Windows Server 2008R2.
I seem to receive emails which are pretty obviously spam - however they are addressed to someone@somedomain and neither of these are in my MailEnable settings. I.E. There is no mailbox or no local domain name that matches the incoming email. So why do I receive them - they should be ignored. I think they are being sent to my IP address without reference to DNS. Can anyone suggest why I am gettng these emails?
I have looked at various settings in ME and everything seems 'right'. I do get the emails that are obviously intended for me....
Any information welcome. Thank you.
p.s. I use the spamhaus.zen and spamcop settings for DNS blacklisting and there is a fairly long (>2000 entries) smtp deny file.
