I did a backup of ME (1.5018) using the mebackup utility and then uninstalled, removed old reg entries and directories. Then re-installed and ran the restore from the backup utility. This was to test backup procedures in case of a real problem.
Most things restored fine. But then
I tried to access some mailboxes via an outlook client and came accross a problem accessing the accounts. It seemed that the directories for mailboxes that had no mail in them were not re-created. I had to go into the ME Admin and just double click on each mailbox to have ME automatically re-create it. Then all was well.Seems like a bug in the backup (or restore) utility. It was not bad for 50 mailboxes, but I would hate to have to do this for a couple hundred.
