I installed the Mail Enable standard last year and it has been running pretty well. Now I want to move to another computer How I can keep all the settings? What files should I copy? Thanx in advance sherwood
Transfer settings to another computer
The way I completed this was:
1. Install a clean setup on the new machine using the same config as the old.
2. Stop the services on both machines.
3. Copy the ME directory from the old to the new (overwriting the install).
4. Copy the registry entries from the old and install on the new.
5. Start the services on the new.
And it worked fine.
I think you will find an official set of instructures in the ME KB.
