The web mail changes attachments to winmail.dat file when received. This all started about 1 month ago. You can view the email under outlook and it will be the correct file attachment. You then bring it up under web mail and it is listed as winmail.dat file. I have seen all the posts from a few years ago when this was happening, so I have checked the type of file it is sending. And verified it is either html or plain text.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Re: winmail.dat
The webmail client does not support decoding winmail.dat attachments sorry. You see it working under Outlook since it supports that. More details at:

Re: winmail.dat
I am still confused. I sent a PDF file to one of my own email addresses. I have my outlook set to only send plain text. So, it should not be converting anything to a winmail file. When I check this email under the webmail the file is showing up as a winmail.dat file. This is not a calendar file. This is not exchange.
