Bayesian Filter catching everything

Post by rockinthesixstring » Wed Apr 26, 2006 9:54 pm

i am having a problem with the bayesian filter catching everything. i have only got 1000 SPAM and 500 NoSpam but they are all legit messages from my personal server. i have the filter set to catch stuff at 98% and it seems to stop everything.

any thoughts

wow, that's odd. I'm having the complete opposite. I have clicked down my sensitivity to 65% and I'm still getting ~55% spam through.

You could try to re train your filter, using more emails in the No Spam or good email selection.

Thus training your filter what is good.

I was able to resolve the problem. seems i was not stopping the MTA while training the filter.
