Filter Question...

Post by STSanford » Thu Oct 19, 2006 3:51 am

I was wondering if it's possible to do the following:
I use a PDA where I send and receive e-mails, problem is that the sent mails don't get logged into my CRM software. I thought that it may be possible to set a filter up in ME that would take my outbound mail from this one account and route it to my primary account in such a way that it was like a BCC.

I looked into the advanced scripting, however it doesn't see to be working properly:

CriteriaMet([ME_ACCOUNT],"mymobile@domain.com")

I get a syntax error and have tried replacing the " characters with ' or (and ) but nothing is working.

Thanks for your help.

Nobody has any idea of how to accomplish this? I would love to have a method of doing this as it mimicks the Blackberry situation.

Thanks again

What is it exactly that youd like the filter to do?

The advanced filter below should do the trick.

FilterResult=0
IF CriteriaMet([ME_FROM],"*mymobile@domain.com*") Then
FilterResult=1
End If

Then add an action to forward a copy of the email to your primary account.
