Filters Setup

Post by benny » Tue Dec 19, 2006 1:58 am

 This might be a stupid question, but here goes--- when setting up filters for ME Pro is there any spcecific order or method. I have set filters to filter words in Header, Body and Subject, these are all in the one filter called spam and are set to delete mail that matches criteria.
I have another with a script for Image spam thanks guys for that this is set to add ****SPAM**** to subject.
Yet another filter for good emails with specific addresses in from this is set to stop filtering and ordered at the top under the virus filter the others are ordered beneath that.

Look forward to thoughts and ideas

You have the order of the filters correct as far as I can tell. That is pretty much how the ME support team and whitepaper says to do it.

I am finding spam coming through that should have been knocked, specially when the body contains certain words

All I can do is judge by your configuration.
Can you post a screen shot of your filters?
