Could you please provide some more information. ie: Timeouts with what? What client? What service? What are you referring to sending/receiving, web mail, .net, asp?

We are getting exactly the same problem and it is driving users crazy. I just sent a test message with a 5MB attachment and it did actually get through but took 68 minutes to send over a 512Mb ADSL connection.

In our case we have tried Outlook 2003 and Outlook Express clients.

This has been happening for several weeks now and we can't pin it down to anything else.

I don’t think it’s your faulty hardware. I have two boxes running the software, each with a very different configuration and BOTH are having the SAME EXACT PROBLEM with taking inbound messages that have attachments over 1 MB. I put in a support ticket and I am supposed to talk to Ian on Sunday about it. There are another 3 posts in this forum with people complaining about something roughly the same.

This needs to be fixed ASAP. I have angry clients!!

Thank goodness we are not alone. Our clients are really creating and now I have pretty much proven that it is MailEnable causing it I have nowhere else to turn now.

It needs to be resolved very quickly.

ccgeek, I believe the developers through Ian gave you a SMTP service that has some extra logging features enabled what was the result of this? For anyone else please lodge a support request through the ME web site so we can send you details of this service.
