POP3 and SMTP Service error

Post by labsy » Sun Jun 24, 2007 10:40 am

Hello,

I recently installed some security updates to my Windows 2003 server, and applied ME Security Lockdown Utility.
I also manually cleaned quarantine and badmail folders, mail bodies and indexes, since there were lots of message indexex, without bodies.

After reboot, I got these errors in Event Viewer -> Application log:

Code: Select all

General: (MailEnable HTTPMail Service error: 0) Service Completed Loading Agents

General: (MEIMAPS error: 0) Service Completed Loading Agents

General: (MailEnable SMTP Service error: 0) ME-I0144: Service Completed Loading Agents

General: (MailEnable POP3 Service error: 0) Service Started
Othervise, server seems working OK, and since error number is 0, it might be that this is normal operation.
Any explanation?
