Greylist bypass

Post by chinook » Wed Oct 31, 2007 6:20 pm

Is it possible to write a filter in the Pro version that enables all email to a specific domain to bypass the greylisting

I guess the crux of the question is what comes first greylisting or filters in order of execution?

I guess the article answers the question.. the quick answer must be:

Greylisting is done at SMTP level, so no filters! I wish ME would allow for some sort of 3rd party code to be run at SMTP level, but I can see why it isn't possible..!

regards,
Steen

greylisting priority

on certain other mail systems we also run, there is a litte button that leads to a "bypass" list, if greylisting is going to be a core feature, this is a "must" , incidentally the bypass allows selection by more than just the sending ip, it allows based on recipient etc.
