MailEnable 3.0 and GreyList

Post by pazzo81 »

Yesterday I activate the greylist function and I don't receive spam... is very good but the gmail's email only is rejecteed.

I try whit must of email, from gmail and other providers and I don't receive nothing, after I unchecked the greylist function and all is ok.... why? My settings are:

- Enable Greylist for all users (dafault)
- 15 minutes (dafault)
- Sender will be rembered for 1140 minutes (default)
- Sensytive: High class D mask (default)

bye bye

Hi, change the sensitivity to class A this has worked for other servers that have it enabled.

The problem with gmail (and others) is that it is often a different server trying to deliver the mail from try to try. So like Ben says, you could use an A mask, or just simply add all the IP number of the gmail servers to your exclude list. The last being the most secure.

Steen
