i am moving our ME from 1 server to another and want to back up and restore but i only want to restore my setting/postbaxes/mailboxs minus the mailbox sizes....
or should i restore only the setting and postboxes and import the mail boxes seperate?
anythought on this and best practice?

The following explains the how to backup MailEnable configuration and user data. There is a switch that can be used for the MailEnable backup/restore utility which will not backup the mailboxes message store. EG: /NOSTORE

The following KB article expalins the procedure involved in migrating MailEnable configuration and data from one server to another. The same procedure can be used to manually backup the folders that the KB article points out. EG: logging, badmail and quarantine folders.
