HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden

Post by chimee »

still trying mailenable pro 1.0. I'm getting this error and I don't know why? when a user tries to logout, the person gets "HTTP Error 403 - Forbidden"

why is this or is it generally an IE 5+ error?

This could be that the default document for the mewebmail virtual directory has had "default.asp" removed. In IIS, right click on the mewebmail virtual directory, select Properties, and click Documents tab in the window that appears. Make sure Enable Default Document is selected and that "Default.asp" appears in the list below.

The reason for this is that when you log out of the webmail you will be redirected to the http://servername/mewebmail directory.
