Contacts disappear
Contacts disappear
MailEnable ver. 3.52
I have a user that uses the webmail access as his primary access to his mailbox. Now, twice in the past two weeks his contacts have disappeared whit the exception of two group lists. I can go into the Postoffice\mailroot\user\contacts folder and see they are there.
When I delete the _index.xml they return. But, like I said this has happened twice now in the past two weeks. Any ideas what could be causing the file corruption?
Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
For anyone experiencing the contacts issue please apply the following hotfix which addresses a problem in regards to store indexing:
1. Download the hot fix from the following location: http://www.mailenable.com/beta/MEAISP_080905.zip
2. Stop all the MailEnable services.
3. Navigate to the following location within the MailEnable installation path: Mail Enable\BIN
4. Rename the following file for backup purposes: MEAISP.dll to __MEAISP.dll_old
5. Extract the contents of the hot fix file to the BIN folder.
6. Test and monitor to see if the same problem persists.

Hi,
Can you please submit a support ticket via the MailEnable support form so that we can diagnose the problem directly on the server. You can lodge the server details via the following secure link: https://www.mailenablecorp.com/secure/details.asp

Same issue here (3.53 Pro) and nothing fixes it. My problem started right after I tried to save contacts directly from the message itself.
Has someone created a legitimate support ticket for this issue? I'm not too thrilled about trying to retype my entire contact list, again.
Edit: I found a weird little workaround that involves tapping the "Full Name" Field sort while you're in the contacts tab. Hit that sort link and all my contacts magically reappear.

Anyone have an update on this?
I am also having the same issue.
