The branch Servers > Local host > Filters does not exist in our MSC anymore. This occured after an upgrade from ME 4 professional to 5.01 professional. We did use ClamAV in version 4 already, not sure if this has an impact as we marked to use the new included ClamAV.
We tried both steps in ME020274 - TRB without any change. ME is running on a 32-bit Windows 2003 server and has been there since version Mailenable Pro 1. Any other tips to resolve this?
TIA,
Tobias

Re: ME 5 upgrade from 4: Servers>localhost>Filters missing
The issue is not related to using ClamAV.
The issue is more likely that the DLL is not registered properly.
Firstly, I suggest checking your diagnostic report and verifying that there are no errors.
Secondly, it may be worth manually registering the MMC Snapin for filtering.
This can be done as follows (from the Start|Run menu):
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Mail Enable\Bin\MEAdminFiltering.dll"

Andrew,
Thanks for getting back to me, but we have not been able to resolve this yet.

All items in Diagnose have Status PASS.

It registered ok but still no filters under Servers>localhost
Any other tips?
TIA,
Tobias

Re: ME 5 upgrade from 4: Servers>localhost>Filters missing
Ok, ok, ok. The filters are under localhost>Extensions>Mailenable Message Filter and not localhost>filters. I just noticed that the link to the PDF documentation still links to Version 2 instead of 5, which gives that location. I guess the installation of new versions never updated the guides.
