Some questions before buying mailenable professional..

Post by Antos » Sun Jul 13, 2003 10:41 pm

1) Does it work under windows 2003? we downloaded the trial everything went but but we have some randome freezes of the application..
2003 server only installed on the test box on a dual xeon 2.4ghz and 3gb of ram

2) is it possible to translate webmail in italian?
we tried the beta tanslate utility and it doesn't work on the trial of 1.109 professional..

3) is mailenable professional available for cluster?

4) We would like to have avg as virus scanner for mailenable, does the 7 version works? do we need the professional or the server version of avg?

Thanks for the help very appreciated....

Hi Antos,

I have successfully deployed ME Pro on windows 2003 standard edition using Symantev NAV 8.0 as a virus solution. I am very pleased with this installation vs imail 6.x that i was using before

regards,

Gene

We too have Mail Enable pro running on Windows 2003 Server Standard edition and it works great - also using server edition of AVG and works flawlessly.

RDNS Blacklisting is an absolute bonus as it has reduced our spam load significantly.
