Bad Mail Spoof

Post by bumbrella » Tue Apr 28, 2015 6:59 pm

I am having issues with spam being sent under emails that don't exist and we are being listed on spam sites. Many of our clients have web forms that when filled out are sent from the email entered on the web form so the client can just click reply and not have to re-enter the email. When I adjust the settings to no one can spoof it doesn't allow the form emails to be sent from the entered email, is there some setting that would allow forms to be from the email sent but not allow spoofing? I already have the send limit at 300 per hour but they stack in bad mail folder.

Add the IP address of the server where the form resides to the SMTP Allow privileged IP's can relay (under the SMTP "Relay" tab) list under the option for Deny all - Except those in the list. Next is to set the SMTP "Address Spoofing" option to "Authorized connections can spoof sender addresses".
