CriteriaMet([ME_SPAMASSASSIN],"Value") ? What "Value" is correct?

Postby itdk.biz » Tue Nov 01, 2016 5:07 pm

I want to clean one or more mailboxes and move all incoming spam to a seperate spam mailaddress. Therefore i need the scripting because I want to seperate the domains, so spam send to domain xy.com move into spam@xy.com and spam to xx.com move to spam@xx.com

I create a script with the following code:
if CriteriaMet([ME_TOorCC],"mail@mail.de") and _
CriteriaMet([ME_SPAMASSASSIN],"fail") Then
FilterResult=1
end if

this do not fire and the spam is still delivering to the mail@mail.de mailbox.

what is the right Value for SPAMASSASSIN? I also try this:

if CriteriaMet([ME_TOorCC],"mail@mail.de") and _
CriteriaMet([ME_SPAMASSASSIN],"1") Then
FilterResult=1
end if

this do not work either. Any idea what to do?

Hi,

Are you sure that the SpamAssassin scanner is returning a fail? Perhaps separate the filters into 2 individual filters to see which one triggers and which doesn't to give you a better understanding which criteria in the AND statement is the one that is not true.

the first criteria CriteriaMet([ME_TOorCC],"mail@mail.de") fires. So this part is fine. I need the Value SPAMASSASSIN returns if it discovers spam.

today i found 2 SPAMs in the SPAM mailbox. So maybe the CriteriaMet([ME_SPAMASSASSIN],"1") works. I restartet the MTA yesterday after I found out Value 1 didn't fire. So maybe the restart was the source of the problem. I will report back if all spam is forward to the SPAM mailbox.
