Webmail functions for one site but not other

Postby xcoaster1 » Thu May 11, 2017 5:32 pm

I have installed ME Professional and have configured my sites within IIS.

One site functions a-OK with the MEWebmail link however the other site is returning a 404 error. Both sites are live and in IIS correctly with SSL certs and IP's linked.

This previously worked in a former test but not it's not responsive. Any quick fixes other than a re-install or something along those lines?

Did you install web mail under a custom web site using the administration web mail properties? Or did you manually add the "MEWebmail" application under the site? If you manually added it them remove and follow the steps in the following guide to use the administration console to add it under the custom website:

If you ave used the console to install webmail then the next step is to ensure that MEWebmail application has inherited the correct .ASPX mappings from the root site. Navigate in IIS and check that the .ASPX handler mappings are set for the MEWebmail application.
