MTA Filters - Add a subject prefix only to the forwarded email

Post by dreniarb »

I have a filter configured to forward any email from "user1@outsidedomain.com" to "user1@mydomain.com" and "user2@mydomain.com".

This in itself works great. If "user1@outsidedomain.com" sends and email to "user3@mydomain.com" (or any other userXXXXX@mydomain.com) a copy is forwarded to "user1@mydomain.com" and "user2@mydomain.com".

I want to add a subject prefix of "[FORWARD]" but only to the emails going to "user1@mydomain.com" and "user2@mydomain.com". The original email going to "user3@mydomain.com" or whoever should be left alone.

Is this possible to do? I've tried creating additional filters that add headers or do a combo criteria search of who the emails are from and going to but either no prefix gets added or the prefix is added to all the emails.

Any suggestions? If I come up with a solution in the mean time I will post it.

Thanks
