For information we are using MailEnable Professional 9.51
We are getting the following messages for a subset of users in the IMAP logs, this results in the folders not beign syncd to the MailEnable server, if youlogon as the user and look at their folders in webmail they are not present.
CREATE CREATE+"INBOX/Mark+S+." c57n+BAD+Invalid+folder+name. DS-158 31 30 0
CREATE CREATE+"INBOX/Clients+" weyo+BAD+Invalid+folder+name. DS-158 31 30 0
CREATE CREATE+"Archive/INBOX+-+old/Deleted+Messages/Listings+" A006+BAD+Invalid+folder+name
All the clients are using Outlook 16-365 and have the lates patches from MS for outlook and windows 10.
I have looked at the local folders in outlook and there is nothing obvious, a work around is to create a new Folder, copy all messages into it and then delete the original one, but this keeps happening.
Can you confirm if you have seen this before and what additional information you may need. I fI need to open a support ticket instead I will speak with our MailServer Partner

Re: IMAP Log - Invalid+folder+name
Hi,
There has been extensive work to IMAP and folder creation and syncing since 9.51, therefore please update to 9.77 and reassess from there.

Re: IMAP Log - Invalid+folder+name
Hi Ian
Can you confirm best practice on folder creation using Outlook 2016 (365) IMAP with MailEnable 9.51
e.g. Can we use spaces in the folder name, any characters not permitted?
